I suddenly realised it is fast approaching 2 years since I last posted a jounral. Rather than let it get quite that far, I felt compelled to write something - anything! - just for the sake of it. If and when I can resurrect my camera I will upload some pictures of my recent experiments with crochet! Including a plush llama made for ~S-R-Schauer (https://www.deviantart.com/s-r-schauer) (yet to be delivered) - you should see his googley eyes! He looks slightly mad. I will also endeavour to upload some photos of my halloween costume (almost complete!) And now I shall trail off pathetically because I can't think of anything else to say ^_^

News just in: I got a new job! A proper one!! Permanent, full time AND (drum roll please) sick leave and holiday pay!! woot! My typesetting job in Camberwell was only a 4-6 month temp contract (due to finish at the end of next month). I've never actually gone straight from one job to another, there's always been a couple of months gap before I could find another one. So, I've been keeping an eye out for any potential jobs - not actually expecting to get a response for a while. I saw another typesetting job advertised last Friday. I applied on Monday. Tuesday was a public holiday. Yesterday they rang me to make a time for an interview. Thi
